The Hope Center India began on 4th of January, 2010 as a result of a vision that Rev. Sarah received, in which she saw Jesus himself building the church as a mason and HE spoke to her giving her a clear sign to start the ministry. It began as a small prayer cell, which the Lord used to bless many people through miracles of healing, deliverance, breaking of curses, counselling and praying. Teaching people to pray and grow in the Lord. Apart from the regular gathering on Wednesday evenings, we also had Fasting Prayers, Love Feasts, Outreach ministries – reaching out to the widows, the juveniles, the young people, families etc.
In 2015 we had a shift in the venue and in the new place the Lord spoke to Rev. Sarah from the Book of Zechariah 4 with clear signs to start the Church. Pastor Brian Warren in his visit earlier the same year had prophesied that the Lord is moving the ministry of THC-India to a higher level. So in September THC the Prayer Cell was transformed into a Church, taking the new name as The Hope Center Church (THCC).
Soon we got it registered with the Government and began to gather as a church in our residence. The Lord did innumerable miracles and kept adding people to the church. But this time it was different, because the people that the Lord brought in stayed and helped the church grow. The ministries of the church continued to grow and the church also grew in size. THCC shifted its venue to the Methodist Resource Center for the Sunday Services as there was a space crunch at our residence.
The Lord has been working afresh among the young people, HE has filled THCC with young people. People are competing to tithe and receiving their blessings directly from God. Young people are tithing and the Lord is meeting their needs marvellously. They are also actively involved in being Gods agent to bring peace to others. Every-time we gather, people have loads and loads of testimonies about the goodness of God in their lives. THCC teaches them just one thing, to love the Lord and to read His Word and to spend time in His presence in Prayer. Praise God for the 12 baptisms conducted in the first year of the church. The Hope Center Church is a part of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in India.
